Crystal Mill
The Crystal Mill near Marble, Colorado in early summer with the Crystal River running bank full. This wooden structure was built above the river in 1892 and served as a compressor station which used a water turbine to power an air compressor to run tools at the Lost Horse Millsite. It's quite a drive getting to this location and requires a high clearance vehicle and lots and lots of patience!

Fresh Snow at Trout Lake
Trout Lake is about a 1 ½ hour drive from Durango, Colorado and is just off of hwy 145 nestled right below several huge mountain peaks. San Miguel Peak, Beattie Peak, Grizzly Peak, and Rolling Mountain. This shot was captured right after a snow storm on top of those high peaks in early autumn.
